The transition to more sustainable energy sources is a global priority today. In this sense, the construction of a multi-energy station in Les Sables-d'Olonne, in the Vendée department (85), is an innovative and promising project. This station, consisting of three canopies with a height of 7.5 m (24.5 ft) and a total length of 40 m (131 ft), represents a significant investment to promote low-carbon mobility and local green energy. GH Hervouet, a customer of Dlubal Software, was responsible for the entire project, including carpentry, roofing and cladding.
This is a research and development project with the long-term goal to design a circular timber house that is energy-efficient and provides excellent living comfort using a rotation system according to the sun's position.
This project aims to rehabilitate, extend, and enhance the former Haras ice rink, located near the Château d'Angers, a castle in the city of Angers, belonging to the ABF sector (Architectes des Bâtiments de France). Dlubal's Spanish customer Estudi M103, an architectural office for structural consulting and calculation reports located in Barcelona, participated in an extraordinary construction project. The "Cirerers" project arises from a contest for municipal building sites for cohousing published by the Barcelona City Council in 2016.
Dlubal customer Estudi M103, an architecture office for structural consulting and calculation reports, was commissioned to carry out the structural consulting of the first office building built entirely of wood in Spain, using Dlubal RFEM software. It is an office building with a ground floor and 4 above-ground stories, located on Calle Llacuna 42 in Barcelona. With this type of building, construction periods are shortened due to the use of new sustainable materials, and even carbon emissions are reduced by 50% during construction.
Nexans Solar Technologies is an internal branch of Nexans, created in 2018 as part of the transition plan towards renewable energies, which aims at providing solutions, products, and services to energy producers and investors.
The solar tracker from KEYLIOS® is the first solution entirely conducted by Nexans Solar Technologies, from design to manufacturing. A major contract had already been signed with a prominent developer of photovoltaic projects and an energy supplier providing more than 800 of these solar trackers to be established on four solar facilities located in the southwest of France.
